Below are pictures from the horrific accident I was in on September 2, 2008 in Jackson. To understand why I survived this collision, I like to look to Psalm 34:7 or you can read my favorite, Psalm 46:10. I took this picture about 4 months after the accident. When I walked up to this and looked at it I broke down and lost it. Kind of an unexplainable, overwhelming feeling. Probably amazement that I lived.

The morning after the collision. Was put in an induced coma because of the extent of injuries and because they couldn't operate for 3 more days due to extremely low blood pressure. Was in "coma" for a week

This device is called an "external fixater" and is used to hold the cracks in the pelvis together. The rods go through the abdomen and screw into the pelvis. The black external rods pull the pelvic rods together thus keeping the fractures from seperating (see x-ray pics)

This is the same type of truck that was parked on the shoulder at the scene of the accident that the driver who hit me swerved to avoid hitting.
